Pendeza Shelters recently collaborated with Chupa Project, a Tanzanian NGO dedicated to reducing plastic waste in Mwanza City. Chupa Project raises awareness about the dangers of plastic pollution and promotes sustainable building technology through eco-friendly housing solutions. During her visit, we demonstrated our processes and methodologies, empowering Angel to start a similar initiative in her community. Chupa Project, based in Pasiansi, Mwanza Region, aims to equip local youth with the skills to transform plastic waste into eco-friendly products. Under the leadership of social entrepreneur Angel Kituu, Co-founder and Managing Director of Chupa House Investment in Tanzania, Chupa Project is at the forefront of environmental change. Angel visited our construction site for consultations, gaining insights and guidance. This initiative not only fights plastic pollution but also cultivates young environmentalambassadors throughout Mwanza City and Tanzania.
